This was posted in the mod forum, where I knew Nate would see it. That way, if the name Project Awesome was slipped, then he would still be clueless. This project sounds cool too and will probably done in a project known as Project Awesomer.
So... this came as a late night inspiration a couple nights back, and I talked about it with Mesh and she seemed all right with it, so I went with it. And I told some JMs and mods about it, so some of you guys already know, but I realized I hadn't done an official topic, so not everybody knows. So yeah. Sorry about that.

So basically, Project Awesome is a newbie outreach program/connecting with older members program. I PMed a lot of active members, asking them to tell how they got into writing and what their main inspirations were, and just talk about their writing career, both newbies and oldbies. So it would be easily seen how people got into writing and stuff and it would give all members a way to connect with each other, since they can all see their personal stories and stuff.
All of this would be put on one page and will be officially revealed at a later date. Responses have been excellent so far, and a lot of newbies have expressed interest in seeing this project come together--they're really quite excited. Plus, I have all these awesome people PMing me. Yay!
So that's the idea behind it! ^_^ But, of course, we needed a secret code name... you GOTTA have a secret code name!
