Writing Tutorials

I love to write. More precisely, I love to write about writing. For several years now, I've been helping writers of all ages with their stories, grammar, and other miscellaneous writing. Now I would like to share it with you. Though most of the topics are for fiction writers, they can be applied to many other areas as well.

Mechanics

This is the very nit-picky stuff about grammar, spelling, word choice and more. I try to keep it as simplistic as possible for the general public, but it can get a little technical at times.

Characters

This has some general thoughts on characters, plus a whole session on what you could do to create more realistic characters.

Structure

This is about how to structure, not only plot but also descriptions and other things about writing a story which helps "build" the story and make it more realistic.

Other Forms

This is about writing other things besides fiction, from persuasive essays to plays to poetry.

Process

This is about the writing process, including my thoughts on writer's block, writing stories, and more.

Editing

If someone ever asks you to edit his story for you, this is information on how to do a constructive critique.
